Grade School & Teens
Our Grade School & Teen classes are curriculum-based classes geared toward strengthening the dancer’s technique and developing artistic skills. Students become familiar with correct structural and muscular placement and learn the vocabulary specific to the discipline. Students will learn ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acro, and enjoy dance workshops. Students are placed according to both age and ability. All students must meet the age requirement by September 1st.
LEVEL BREAKDOWN
Grade School: 5 to 8 years
Pre-Teen: 9 to 11 years
Teen: 12 to 18 years

**All dance items can be purchased at Studio 88.**
GIRLS
Pee-Wees: Black leotard, tan tights, tap, jazz shoes, and lyrical shoes, hair in a bun
Ballet: Black leotard, pink tights, ballet shoes, hair in a bun
Tweens: Black leotard, tan tights, jazz, and lyrical shoes, hair in a bun
Acro/Hip Hop: Shorts, shirt, sneakers, hair in a ponytail
BOYS
Ballet: Pants, shirt, ballet shoes
Tweens: Pants, shirt, jazz, and lyrical shoes
Acro/Hip Hop: Shorts, shirt, and sneakers
